ABSTRACT
The project arises from the synergy between the Soprintendenza per i beni archeologici del Veneto, Università di
Padova and the Comune di Montegrotto Terme, which has allowed the development of a comprehensive proposal of
opening to the public of the archaeological areas of Montegrotto Terme, proposed that it was possible to implement
thanks financing of Arcus S.p.A, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, Regione del Veneto, Università
di Padova, Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca. After dealing with historical, archaeological and
geomorphological studies, it was decided to carry out an archaeological park in the territory constituted by historic
buildings that have meaning and significance autonomous but connected in an organic way, they can acquire potential
in terms of urban and territorial qualification, with repercussions on tourism. Particular attention was paid to
communication,withtheelaborationofapathmarkedwithinformationboards,thesettingofthe"InformationPoint"at
the Montegrotto Terme train station, the creation of the website which brought together all the information and
documentation of the area investigated. They are also designed and produced restoration and enhancement of the
archaeological areas preserved for them and make available to visitors. The project will include the construction of the
MuseodelTermalismointhesettingofVillaDraghiinMontegrottoTerme.
